Property description
The glamping fire engine is located on our picturesque lake next to our farm yard on the A52 to Skegness. It will be one of half a dozen unique forms of accommodation that will be situated here, along side Kaleb the combine, the army ambulance and our Samaritan tank. When finished, the site will have between 6 and 8 quirky places to stay. Keeping the number of units low will help us to keep a nice peaceful environment for our guests to enjoy.
There is a service road to the fire engine to drop off your luggage but the parking is in the adjacent farm yard. A two minute walk back to your accommodation.
Inside the fire engine itself is a double bed toward the rear of the vehicle. Two bench seat that also convert into single beds. A small worktop with kettle and toaster, as well as a smart tv with built in dvd player. It will also benefit from wifi.
On the outside of the fire engine is a compartment containing a fridge and wine rack. This is making use of existing spaces in the vehicle. Also, outside the vehicle is a picnic bench, bbq and fire pit for enjoying evenings around the lake.
There is a cold water tap located at each site but for hot water and washing up there is a kitchen sink located on the outside of the shower block. The shower block itself is a two minute walk from the fire engine.
Location
The property is located just 7 miles from the seaside town of Skegness where you will find plenty to do. The beaches are lovely and the town has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment. Locally there are many places to visit such as the Lincolnshire wildlife park, Batemans brewery and Gibraltar point nature reserve, to name a few.
The is also a local pub within walking distance but just check on opening times as they vary.
