Property description
Originally a Massey Ferguson 860, this ex harvester has now been recycled into a unique combine harvester glamping pod after years of valued service. Kaleb the combine is now available and will sleep two, in a King size bed in the tail end of the combine. In the front end there are a couple of bench seats facing a wall mounted tv. Kaleb has now been accompanied by it’s trailer that will also sleep 2 and provides a small cooking area with breakfast bar. The trailer also has its own smart tv and both vehicles have wifi.
It is equipped with toaster, kettle, electric hob and accompanying crockery and cutlery.
Outside
Outside there is a private seating area with bbq and fire pit which overlooks a picturesque horseshoe shaped lake. The are now several other glamping pods available. The Samaritan tank, our unimog army ambulance, a Green Goddess fire engine and a log pod, also located around the lake.
There is a service road to the combine to drop off your luggage but the parking is then in the adjacent farm yard. A two minute walk back to your accommodation.
Camping and fishing are available
There is a large toilet block to service the site which has both toilet facilities plus hot showers and a changing area. Located on the outside of this block is a kitchen sink with hot and cold water for washing up.
The property is located just 7 miles from the seaside town of Skegness where you will find plenty to do. The beaches are lovely and the town has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment. Locally there are many places to visit such as the Lincolnshire wildlife park, Batemans brewery and Gibraltar point nature reserve, to name a few.
The is also a local pub within walking distance but just check on opening times as they vary. The Barley Mow
