Our Frequently Asked Questions We get asked a lot of common questions, so we have tried to help you out by listed some of the most frequently asked ones below! Opening Hours for General enquiries are between 8am to 2pm and check in times are from 3pm to 9pm.. Unfortunately we are a small business and can’t man phones at all hours.
FAQ’s
- At which site is my accommodation located? – We have two separate sites, roughly 2 miles apart. At our Tower site are the following buildings. The Tower, Lancaster, Hurricane, Spitfire as well as the Jetstream plane and Lynx helicopter. At our lake site are our other unique pods – The Sea King helicopter, Kaleb the combine harvester, the Unimog army truck, the Green Goddess fire engine and the Tank.
- Are the glamping pods heated? – All the pods bar the army truck have underfloor heating. This provides a background heat that when left with the doors closed will warm up the pods quite well. However, in very low temperatures and if the doors are opened frequently the pods will take time to warm back up. We suggest that you come prepared for this and bring warm clothes. Extra blankets are provided. The army truck has an electric wall mounted heater which is more than adequate.
- Can we fish the lake? – Yes. The lake is closed to the general public but is well stocked with fish for the benefit of our guests. However, as yet, we don’t provide any fishing equipment so please bring you own
