Property description
The Sea King is located on our picturesque lake next to our farm yard on the A52 to Skegness. It will be one of half a dozen unique forms of accommodation that will be situated here, along side Kaleb the combine, the army ambulance, Green Goddess fire engine and the Samaritan tank. When finished, the site will have between 6 and 8 quirky places to stay. Keeping the number of units low will help us to keep a nice peaceful environment for our guests to enjoy.
There is a service road to the helicopter to drop off your luggage but the parking is in the adjacent farm yard. A two minute walk back to your accommodation.
Inside the helicopter itself is a bench seat arrangement that is easily converted into a double bed at the front. Working from front to back there is a small kitchen area with kettle and toaster, microwave and electric hob. Opposite this is a small toilet with shaving light and mirror. This is a very small room and really only to save a walk in the middle of the night. Next to this is a smart tv with built in dvd player placed opposite a sofa that looks out onto the lake. Finally at the rear of the helicopter is another double bed and its own smart tv. The helicopter will also benefit from wifi.
Outside the helicopter is a decked area on the edge of the lake. On which there is a picnic bench, outdoor rattan table and chairs as well as a bbq and fire pit.
There is a cold water tap located at each site but in the heli itself is a hot tap at the kitchen sink for washing up. The shower block itself is a two minute walk from the pod where there are also washing up facilities.
